Brava, Victòria!

Brava, Victòria! embarks on an intimate journey through the life of soprano Victòria dels Àngels, through her home films, her diaries and her personal belongings.

One of the most prominent Spanish sopranos of the 20th century, Victòria dels Àngels performed on some of the world’s most renowned stages: the Bayreuth Festival, La Scala in Milan, Covent Garden and the Metropolitan Opera House. And she was always surrounded by the most influential and celebrated artists.

Brava, Victòria! reveals the sensitive personality of this singer, who came from a humble household.

Joining in on this fascinating tour are several of her contemporaries with whom she shared the stage, including tenors Plácido Domingo and Luigi Alva, director Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos; pianists Manuel Garcia Morante and Albert Guinovart; and the daughter of pianist Paul Berl; as well as admirers, critics and diverse celebrities from the music scene.
