Exhibition: Cinemas of Reus

Discover the beginnings of film in Reus and the birth of the city’s first films houses. Bear witness to the way the theatres were occupied by the cinema. Learn that in the first three decades of the 20th century double-header film sessions were combined with vaudeville, and that that the adverts were made in Catalan. Look back at the old gems of the silent film and the landmarks of those years in Reus. These are the invitations and goals of this exhibition, which moreover presents a collection of posters and programmes offered by Joan Ramón Mestre.
