The seminar, addressed to pupils of the URV with credits of free choice, wants to reflect this year on the audiovisual creation with images of archive.

Because of that it wants to fall upon the value of the images of archive in the audiovisual creation, like working the images of archive, how experimental and non professional productions are made, how they work the professionals the images of archive, the subjects of the author's copyright and the promotion and formation using images of archive.

PROGRAM
The activity will have two parts:

• Lectures (6 hours):
  • Monday 10th November:
    Of 09,30 hr at 10,00 hr– Delivery of documentation.
    Of 10,00 hr at 11,00 hr – Panorama of festivals: DOCSBARCELONA. Lecture carried out by Joan González, director of Paral•lel 40and of the Festival.
    Of 11,30 hr at 12,30 hr – Panorama of Archives or Film Libraries: Home Movies- Archivo Nazionale del Film de Famiglia d’Itàlia. Lecture carried out for Paolo Simoni, director of the Home Movies.
    
  • Tuesday 11th November:
    Of 10,00 hr at 11,00 hr – Panorama legal: Author's Copyright. Lecture carried out by Dra. M. Teresa Franquet, teacher of Law of the University Rovira and Virgili.
    Of 11,30 hr at 12,30 hr – Panorama of directors or producers: Lecture carried out by Dolors Genovès, director of historical documentaries of TV3.
    
  • Wednesday 12th November:
    Of 10,00 hr at 11,00 hr – Panorama of creators or schools: Lecture carried out by Maria Cañas, Andalusian videoartist.
    Of 11,30 hr at 12,30 hr – Panorama of investigators or experts of the cinema: Group of Research LAIA. Lecture carried out by Dra. Palmira González,
    director of the Group of Research LAIA and teacher of Cinema of the University of Barcelona.

• Projections (14 hours):
  They have to choose themselves among the several projections of audiovisual works of the Festival Memorimage 14 hours of among all the programming of Monday on Friday.
